I felt tickles that I had not felt in over 10 years.
I am 52-years old, and a diabetic. For years I had no feeling in my feet. I had a toe amputated. When Dr. Silvester told me about the new surgery he was doing, my first thought was, 'Yeah, right.' But on September 9, 2005 I had the procedure done on my right foot. After that I was amazed I could actually feel! I felt tickles that I had not felt in over 10 years. I decided I wanted to do the left foot, and Dr. Silvester performed the surgery on October 7, 2005. What Dr. Silvester has given me has left me speechless and very grateful. I recommend it to any and everybody that will listen to me.MB, Pleasanton
I went into this with a lot of hope and two weeks later the results exceeded my wildest dreams.
I am a 58-year old male who discovered he had diabetes. Over the last 3 to 4 years I have had problems with infections and ulcers, especially on my left foot. The loss of feeling, particularly in the left foot made it impossible for me to feel when something was wrong. In August, 2005 Dr. Darren J. Silvester talked to me about a procedure to improve the situation. Dr. Silvester has treated me for the last few years and I value his advice. He performed a test to see if the procedure would help and soon after he performed the surgery. I went into this with a lot of hope and two weeks later the results exceeded my wildest dreams. During the first examination he touched the bottom of my foot and it tickled! I haven't had that much feeling in a very long time.I would like to thank Dr. Silvester and his wonderful staff, I cannot say enough about their caring and concerned approach to my health and wellbeing. Dr. Silvester has my full approval to show or use this letter in any manner he thinks will help others, and I can be reached...if anyone wishes to contact me.BM - Floresville
The pain I experienced on my feet prior to this treatment was horrendous. I am now pain-free.
I have had diabetes since 1996. I am 51 years old, and for the past year, I have experienced severe pain on my toes and feet. My primary care physician diagnosed me as having neuropathy. He said I would have to live with the pain. In October, I was bitten by a spider on my big toe. The wound would not heal, even after two treatments of antibiotics prescribed by my primary care physician. I then made an appointment with Dr. Silvester. He was able to help me with the spider bite. It has now healed. He also diagnosed me with neuropathy. Dr. Silvester explained a procedure in which he has had an 80% success rate. (Neurogenx with injections). My therapy includes injections twice a week along with electrode treatments on both legs. I am extremely pleased with the results. Since starting this treatment, I have not had any pain on my feet at night. I also have more sensation on my legs. The numbness has dissipated. This is an outstanding treatment. The pain I experienced on my feet prior to this treatment was horrendous. I am now pain-free. thanks to Dr. Silvester.CC, 1/17/14
